No .EXE files are ever used in the compliation process. ( .EXE files don't work on a mac anyway. ). Why? .EXE files may harbor malicious programming.

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

Hello Everyone,

Basic Setup tips :O)

Make sure you have checked the load out of date AddOns first and have all your AddOns enabled, and press Okay.

For Happy Herb and Ore Farming...

When you log in type /gatherer
You will see the gatherer window show up.
On the left side look for Database, press that.
On the right side you will see Import, press that.
Wait for Gatherer to import all the herb and ore nodes into your personal Gatherer database.
When done, you will now be able to see all the possible nodes, just remember some are no longer active, like the one's near the Dark Portal in Hellfire and other are based on a timer - all the nodes are not active at all times of the day.

*Sure Mining and Herbing is boring, but think of each hit as a act of love, bc the more you get the more people you can help.

For First time Auctioneer Users.

Go to the AH, click on an auctioneer.
The Auctioneer window ( a modified AH window ) will appear.
At the top of that window there is a ' > ' button ( like a play button on the VCR ), press it
This starts Auctioneer to scan all the sales available.
Let Auctioneer do its work.. Take a break.. and come back in a few minutes.
When Auctioneer is done with will tell you it is.
Now you have your personal AH price database for your server.
Remember to scan the AH often so you can get the best price data.

Oh, my favorite thing about auctioneer is the TAB BTMSCN, press it
It should changed to the Auctioneer Bottom Scanner Tab,
There should be a ' > " button too, press it.
NOW READ CAREFULLY....
it will show you " good buys ", be a smart shopper and don't buy anything, or you will be saying " good bye " to you gold.

This can be useful to enchanters looking to level up enchanting or buy items to make shards for resell.

*Try to scan the AH on an alt, this way you can walk away and not worry about whose whispered you.

For Powerquesting:

Look at your minimap... you should see a cute MONKEY BUTTON, press it.
it will help you configure monkeyquest.
Read and do what you need to do to get it the way you like it.

MonkeyQuest is an onscreen quest reminder that keeps you focused so you don't lose track of what you are doing.

QuestAnnounce.
When in party chat, whenever you complete a quest item this addon will announce to your party what you have just achieved.
type /questannounce classic
this will make announcement shorter, and it will annoy people less.

TitanPanel is the bar at the top or the bottom.
You should see the Location Helper in the bar by default.
If you do not see it, then activate it by right clicking the bar once, which will open a popup-menu for TitanPanel.
Move your cursor to TitanPanel Buil-Ins, which pops up another popup-menu.
Move your cursor Location- left clicking will check it ON or check it OFF, please check it ON.
You now should see the "Loc: Name-Of-Here with ( x , y )" on the TitanPanel.

The ( x, y ) part is called a Coordinates, WoW uses the top left of the screen as (0,0). This will help you when questing to find out where you are, or to go to certain places when you are questing.

Don't expect others to babysit you though a quest. You can find some of the best information on a quest online.. Try using a search engine type: wow and the quest title, and press enter so you can see all the hints other players have posted, most of the time they post with Coordinates ( x, y ).

*Fast leveling means staying focused, and only doing quests which give you the most experience.

Yesterday's TH DELUXE PACK v 9.74 was pulled because it was actually just the TH QUEST PACK alone.

Please download the latest one. The AddOns were double checked.
