- About WLK Texture-Theme
I have just begun doing photoshop designs for different UI styles using eePanels2. This is my first of many to come so I am hoping that hey will get better with every theme.
Included is an updated copy of eePanels2 for 2.4 along with all the texture files needed for the WLK theme, along with a few others not of my own. This is WLK package #1 as I am making one more with a different style, possibly 2 more depending on how I feel at the time.
Please rate and leave feedback whether you like it or not as this helps me to analyze my work and do better next time.
I am also accepting requests for themes and such. I'm not sure how to do so yet but I will be looking into ways to use Flash in my UI's, if anyone knows, pls lemme know.
Install via curse client, or download into your c:\\programfiles\worldofwarcraft\interface\addons directory, you dont need to touch the files from there until in-game.
Once in-game open eePanels
Step2: Click Advance mode
Step3: Open Global settings
Step4: In global setting, make the background and border colors set to 0. go to Background texture in global setting and type in (Interface\Addons\eePanels2) then hit ENTER, without the (). This will save you from having to set those settings for each panel.
Step5: Go to New Panel ---> From Global settings. This creates a new panel.
Step6: The panel is 0 alpha so u cant see it, put ur mouse to the middle of the screen and the panel will highlight, the right click on the panel.
Step7: Go to Background Texture ---> Custome Texture -----> this should be filled in for you from the global settings u set earlier, at the end type \ and the name of the texture file, then press enter. Scale it to your liking to fit your screen. eePanels is flexible, so you are not bound to the layout I have in my screenshots.
Step8: Rinse and Repeat for each panel you would like to add.
That's it, simple as I could put it, you will never have to configure eePanels again, just type the name of the texture and you are g2g. the WLK files in this package are named just that, then the name of the type of panel incase u cant find it before you ask. There are other textures aswell, they ae named different, just look for the name beginning with WLK.
ENJOY!
ALSO, THESE ARE THE TEXTURE FILES AND EEPANELS2 ONLY! NONE OF MY ADDONS OTHER THAN THAT ARE INCLUDED SO YOUR LAYOUT RESULTS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR CURRENT SETUP.

justcallmefred saidthat looks really sweet, loading it up and checking it out! What sphere mods you using?
Houston, we got a problem. I want to add the panels, but I already have Eepanels from WoWAce...the updater will overwrite your version.I know I can block Eepanels from updating that way, but if the author releases an update.....

EagleEyeKing saidWell the buttons are the Trinity Bars mod, similar to Bartender3 but a lot more customizable. Well as far as you already having eepanels, you can download the zip file to your desktop and only extract the textures to your eepanels folder. Also this is the most current version of eepanels to date. In order to avoid overwriting of textures tho when updating I would recommend putting the texture files into your Interface folder, outside of your Addons folder, which is wut I shoulda done but I dont feel like reseting all my panels. Although since I'm a Paladin in-game, I use my PaladinUI theme.

justcallmefred saidI hate to ask, can you be so kind as to explain how that is done?Doesn't eP2 have to know where to look? I also have sharedmedia installed, think it would access your work too?

EagleEyeKing saidep2 does not need to know where to look other than your interface folder, so just make sure to put the textures in you interface folder, past that they can go anywhere. Sharedmedia should recognize the files, i dont use sharedmedia so im not sure of it's complete function capabilities.
