- About AuctionFilterPlus
This mod adds a flyout panel of filters and display modifications, plus a reset button, to the Auction House.
Thank you to the authors of AuctionFilterRL (Joshaze), AuctionSort (Abraha), AH_Reset (AnduinLothar), and AH_Wipe (Neriak), as these mods formed the base for this extension.
I've added a few more filters that I always wished I'd had when shopping (such as only-20-piece stacks, and exact search), changed it to a low-clutter Flyout display, added the ability to save one's filter settings, merged the two mods into one, and added tooltips so users have more information about what each filter does.
FEATURES
-- Adds a Filter button and a Reset button to the AuctionHouse frame.
-- Pressing the Filter button will cause a Flyout menu to appear.
-- The filter checkboxes on the flyout allow you to limit your AH results or change the display of certain information.
-- In "Show Best Deals" display, bolts of cloth and greater essences are valued as their appropriate number of component elements.
-- You can clear your filter settings with a single click.
-- You can clear your Auction House search boxes with a single click.
-- You can save your filter settings as your default setup, which will persist across sessions, characters, and servers.
-- You can clear your settings temporarily and then reload them without relogging.
-- Each of the filter checkboxes has an explanatory tooltip.
-- Ready for localization (please help do so, if you are German- or French-speaking). You will be credited!
-- Compatible with Auctioneer and KC_Items.

Is there any way to turn of the [PPU] flag when using PPU mode?
Or atleast make it less intrusive by flagging it Behind! the item name and perhapps an option to just use an asterix as a flag.
Cos its huge, its ugly, its in the way and its completely useless for me.

jlrm365 saidThis addon DOES work. I read the recent comments and was about to agree, but then I had a fortunate accident.
My auction house char went to check its in-game mail and then went back to the auction house. When I then clicked on one of the auctioneer characters, the "Filter" button and fly-out window showed.
I then quit the game and deleted the addon and its lua (from the SavedVariables folder), to reset everything - in case what happened to me was a fluke. I re-installed the addon and restarted WoW. Sure enough, the same thing happened.
When I first clicked on an auctioneer character, I saw no "Filter" button. I then closed the Auction window. This time, my character did not go anywhere or do anything. Instead, I immediately clicked on the same auctioneer character again. The "Filter" button was there and so was the fly-out window.
There seems to be no fault with the addon, other than that the "Filter" button and fly-out window do not show when first (after installing the addon) interacting with an auctioneer. They do, on every occasion afterwards.
That is not really a fault, but it could be "corrected" in an upcoming version. In any case, it would be useful to make this behaviour obvious - in the description of this addon.
One feature that I would like to see added is the ability to remember prices, so that they would not have to be entered each time a similar item was auctioned. The "Auctioneer" addon has this feature, though I would not like to install it, just for that ability.

ElectronDF saidI can't get any version past 2.1.2 to show buttons in the AH frame. I click where it would be and nothing. If I type /afp it will show up until I log out. Then it doesn't show up again when I log back in. I deleted the addon directory and the saved variables. That didn't help. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated.

Dridzt saidYou're using Auctioneer Advanced 5.x with CompactUI enabled.
I've PMed a fix for Auctioneer Advanced incompatibilities to DSanai,
hopefully he'll see it soon and update the main file here.
Until then consider unchecking CompactUI from tool options in Auctioneer advanced.
You might get another error but it won't be so severe.
(both have been fixed in the patched version i've sent)

Dridzt saidThat generally creates confusion when an addon is not really abandoned,
as soon enough users don't know where to seek support.
Apart from that I don't really want to take over development of the addon
at this point, I have enough on my plate.
However as a convenience I'll follow your suggestion and post a "fan's update"
until DSanai has a chance to visit here.
I'll take it down once the official release is updated.

RockSlice saidDsanai: have you considered converting AuctionFilterPlus to work as an AucAdvanced module when AucAdvanced is present? That would allow it to interact more closely with AucAdvanced's functions.
