- About Prayer of Mending Tracker
A mod that tracks who Prayer of Mending is jumping to and how many charges you have left. Displaying it in a small movable window frame.
New Features in 2.0:
/pom options - Opens an option window
Clear button to reset healing.
Allows you track your TOTAL healing done if enabled, instead of resetting after each cast (better for raids).
If you are upgrading from an older version and having issues, try deleting the saved variables file in your WTF\Account\username\server\playername\Saved Variables\PoMtracker.lua

kazren saidThis add on works great for me, but the look of it is bad imo. I still use it, but was just wondering if it could be changed to look a bit nicer. Mend Watch looks fantasic, no blocky header or anything, just bars showing where it is. Just an idea I guess. Other than that, awsome job.

Moleculor saidI am NOT a fan of the look either. The timer bar is too small for me to see on my 13-inch screen, and the GinormousTitleBar takes up way too much space. I should also be able to turn off the amount healed or hide it and shove it into the options screen or something. Also, the options should be part of the interface screen anyway.
The timer bar should be behind the name of the person it's on, and the title should vanish entirely (it could come back as the anchor when needed).

elidion saidWell it's been that way for over a year now so I'm not about to change the look of the mod. Making the timer bar a bit wider, adding an option to not display the amount healed I can look into. As far as the "Ginormous" title bar goes, it can be hidden when you lock the mod in place. It's there as an anchor to drag the mod around, always has been. This mod was out before mendwatch and I never intend to make it feel like mendwatch. Most people tell me it looks very neat and organized, I think a bar behind the name looks tacky and easily confused with all the other bar mods out there...this mod looks different by design. Sorry you don't like it.

elidion saidPut up a beta version I am working on. The new combat log seems to misfire events a lot or from time to time skip certain events all together. So I've been working on safty nets and what not. Maybe it's because I can only test it in AV, I dunno.

dfscott saidI tried this latest version in Kara last and saw the same behavior of it missing jumps. Definitely my favorite PoM mod, but hopefully Bliz or whoever will sort out the missing events soon...

blayzee saidThanks a bunch for updating this great addon!
The new beta works most of the time, but sometimes it will still not register that a mend has healed, jumped or faded. Most commonly (as far as i can see :-) it will miss a jump, and it will timeout on a player which does not have the mend spell. This will also happen even though everyone in group is within 40 yards,
This is only occasionally though so the beta is still very usable :D
Thanks again for this great addon. Keep up the good work.

elidion saidUnfortunately there isn't much I can do about that as I explained in my previous post. It seems that the new combat system skips events from time to time and there is just nothing that can be done. If the mod doesn't receive the event that personA was healed or that personB received PoM it's just hosed for that round. I notice this happens a lot more frequently in battlegrounds. When there are tons of AoEs and 30-80 people around getting damaged, healed ect so many events are flying you just can't get them all I guess. In raids, and especially groups, it seems MUCH more reliable.
This has always been an issue but with this new combat event system it made it a bit worse since it is sending so much more data than before.

etherwarlock saidThis mod is not working for me in 2.4. It shows the first caste ok (usually MT) but at the first "bounce" show "No Target" and times out. Is this just me? Suggestions?
I really like to be able to track PoM but it seems that niether this mod nor Mendwatch work in 2.4. I hopw we get one that works soon, I know most healing priests would like to use it

elidion saidWell they took the PTRs down before I was finished with 2.0, This weekend I'll see about getting on the TTR to try and finish it up. Otherwise we might have to wait a couple days after 2.4 :(

elidion saidIt is actually Patch 2.4 that is having the combat logging overhauled. That is the patch that will break a lot of mods and require rewrites...I actually look forward to it because it will give us more options and hopefully make things much more accurate.

elidion saidThe title Bar will go away when you lock it in position, it's only there to help you drag it around on your screen. Type /pom for a list of all options. In regards to scaling, I've wanted to do it but just hadn't had the time. I had quit my priest and had just recently came back and realized I needed to get some changes done, so now I'm reintroducing myself to the whole wow programing again. Each patch changes some things around, and looking the 2.3 UI changes, there might be some great things in store for this mod, like more accurate tracking and some other feature ideas I've had. I think I am looking at a complete rewrite and if that happens I'll try to integrate some sort of scaling feature.

Sis saidAny suggestions on what I should do to find my missing POM frame! I have tried every option to show it, and unlock it. I have even deleted it and reinstalled it. It just vanished! I want it back!

Heckler saidHi Elidion! I was wondering if you had plans to add a way to scale the bars, and to perhaps remove the frame title? My UI is already cluttered up as it is :( Great little mod though! Yours is the only PoM tracker around now that mendwatch is dead.

Rockfang saidDoesn't work with 2.2. At least not in AV's. Any chance on getting an update? It'll show the first person I cast it on, but the tracking part doesn't work.

gamergirl saidI love this mod. It really has helped me in better mgmt of my PoM. I would love a mod that would track the PoM healing throughout a raid/encounter and can then report that. Can anyone suggest anything or any plans to add that to this mod? Thanks again for creating this.

elidion said@wernerCD I was originally going to integrate it into my Clairvoyance timer mod. But I had been so busy in RL I haven't got much done there. As far as getting the thing unstuck, you can try a /pom gui unlock and then click the title up top to drag. If you can't see that part, you can always delete your WTF\Account\username\server\playername\Saved Variables\PoMtracker.lua file. (while you are OUT of the game)
@xboxaddict21 Not sure why you are having problems, I don't. Of course the toc file is old so you have to tell it to use out of date addons, but other than that, there is no issue. I am working on a version with the test server 2.2 patch since that patch actually changed some LUA and UI stuff. Are you actually getting some kind of error?
